Batam Golf Courses
Batam Hills Golf Resort
Formerly known as Paradise Bay Golf Club, Batam Hills Golf Resort was renovated and renamed in 2006. The resort is located in the Waterfront City area of Batam Island in the region of Sumatra. This Max Wheeler designed, par 72 course is relatively short at 6,225 meters.
Padang Golf Sukajadi
Officially opened in 2009, Padang Golf Sukajadi is an 18-hole, par-72, semi-private club, close to the city center on Batam Island. In 2010, it hosted the first Indonesian Golf Association Amateur Open Golf Championship event.
Palm Springs Golf & Country Club
Palm Springs Golf and Country Club is a 27-hole golf course designed by Larry Nelson of Nelson and Hayworth and IMG. It is the closest Batam golf course to Singapore and just a five-minute drive to the clubhouse from the ferry terminal once you arrive on the island.
Southlinks Country Club
Japanese designed Southlinks Country Club was originally laid-out and opened in 1996. Since then water features, island greens and doglets have been added to improve the design of the course. The Club sits on 213 hectares of elevated land adjacent to the Ladi reservoir.
Tering Bay Golf & Country Club
Opened in 1995, this 18-hole, par-72 course at Tering Bay was designed by the great Greg Norman. A generally hilly course, it plays at 6,400 meters with a choice of four tee boxes to suit players of all abilities. As with any Greg Norman course, there are plenty of large bunkers, many of which are deep, with fine sand.
