Course overview
The Bintan Lagoon Golf Club’s “Seaview Course” on Bintan Island, incorporates 18 beautiful golf holes, created and inspired by golfing legend Jack Nicklaus. Opened in 1996, this undulating jungle course is just a short ferry trip from Singapore. Five tees make the course very playable for golfers of all handicaps. From the championship tees, the course stretches out to a very challenging 6,443 meters. The front 9 nine holes wind their way through native, tropical jungle where Nicklaus has made good use of his trademark bunkering. The back nine open up to spectacular views of the South China Sea. However, it is not only about the scenic South China Sea views and the tropical jungle, Nicklaus has also made good use of his trademark bunkering throughout the rolling topography, with water hazards coming into play on thirteen of the nineteen holes.
