Course overview
Opened in 1981, Jagorawi Golf & Country Club is the country’s only 45 hole golf club, comprising three separate golf courses; The ‘Old Course’, the ‘New Course’ and the ‘Z Course’. Both the ‘Old Course’ and the ‘New Course’ have hosted the Indonesian Open. The ‘Old Course’ was designed by Australian legend Peter Thompson and Mike Wolveridge and is renowned for being one of the most challenging courses in Indonesia. It demands precise shot accuracy to have any chance of a good score. The ‘New Course’ is longer, more open, and slightly more straightforward than the ‘Old Course’. Jagorawi’s third course, the ‘Z Course’, is a Max Wexler masterpiece which many consider to be the hardest nine holes in Asia. If you are a low handicapper you will be in your element on the ‘Z Course’. Jagorawi’s West Sumatran style clubhouse has a traditional pointed roof and a restaurant that serves excellent Indonesian dishes. Book this course through Indonesian Golf Holidays, or let us add it to a personalized Indonesian Golf package for you and your group.
