Course overview

Opened in 1997, Sentul Highlands Golf Club was designed by the golfing legend, Gary Player. Previously known as Mentari Golf Bukit Sentul, the course is located in the Sentul City residential development close to Bogor. It plays short at 6500 yards but makes good use of the naturally hilly terrain. Many of the holes have panoramic views of nearby Gunung Salak and the Bogor foothills. Numerous sets of tees accommodate all levels of golfers, however tight fairways require precision over distance to hit blind fairways. Many holes play downhill with #14 being one of the stand-outs. Although short, the layout is a combination of a dogleg right to a small landing area and a downhill approach to a small well-guarded green. Facilities include a pro shop, a driving range, a 3-hole practice area, open locker rooms and an on-site spa. There are two restaurants available in the clubhouse, one of which serves local dishes and the other a golfer café that acts as a halfway house on the course.
